Programme 01

Middle Eastern Client Excellence

For client-facing teams serving clients from the Gulf and the wider Middle East. A practical 90-minute workshop that supports stronger sales conversations, relevant follow-up and repeat business with high-value clients.

Three people seated in conversation around a lounge table, with one holding a notebook.

Why it matters

Cultural understanding is a commercial skill.

A 90-minute workshop led by Shaima. Colleagues practise the full client journey: the arrival, the welcome, the conversation and the follow-up. Each step is built around one principle: culture gives us clues, and the individual gives us the answer.

Cultural intelligence

Cultural intelligence that fits each client.

Clients from the same place can have different preferences. Nationality, language and religion do not describe the whole person. Colleagues learn to separate what they observe from what they assume, and to ask a respectful question when they need to know.

What colleagues practise

  • Understand the context
  • Connect through attention
  • Adapt to the individual

What participants experience

Practical, conversational, and immediately usable.

Shaima demonstrates two versions of the same arrival and the group discusses what changed. Colleagues work through a typical client situation, draft a relevant follow-up in pairs, and practise a few words of Arabic aloud.

Each participant leaves with short working notes, a pocket Arabic vocabulary card and one specific commitment for their next client.

A gloved advisor presents a wristwatch to two seated people, with two more watches on a tray in the showroom.

The client journey

The moments that decide whether the client returns.

  1. 01

    Arrive

What the client notices before anyone speaks. Recognise the arrival, give attention and make space, including when you are already with another client.

  2. 02

    Welcome

Welcome everyone who arrives together and serve each person individually. Let the client lead greeting preferences, and offer hospitality when the moment fits.

  3. 03

    Connect

Find out what the client needs, who the purchase is for and what it means to them, then connect the recommendation to what they shared.

  4. 04

    Adapt

Separate observation from assumption. Check with the individual and adapt to what they tell you.

  5. 05

    Return

Agree a relevant next step. Share appropriate preferences through the team's process so the next colleague can build on the first colleague's relationship.
